Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin preview

The Japanese television show Hiru Han Desu! featured a preview of the live-action adaptation of the Rurouni Kenshin manga and anime on Friday. This segment showed the 23-year-old actor Takeruh Satoh as the titular swordsman in a sword fight with Hajime Saitō. Emi Takei also appears as the heroine Kaoru Kamiya.

The movie is directed by Keishi Ōtomo who's also working on Ryōmaden..
The cast will consist of Yuu Aoi as Megumi Takani, Munetaka Aoki (The Girl Who Leapt Through Time live-action) plays Sanosuke Sagara, Taketo Tankaka as Yahiko Myōjin and Kouji Kikkawa as Jine Udō.
Kanryū Takeda will be played by Teruyuki Kagawa.

The film is airing in Japan on August 25.
